Ghost Wallet Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of the Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Ghost Browser Extension Wallet (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

The Ghost Browser Extension Wallet (“Ghost Wallet”) is a self-custody wallet that allows users to store, send, and receive the supported cryptocurrencies: Kaspa and KRC20 tokens. The Service is available as a browser extension and enables users to interact with blockdag networks in a secure and decentralized manner. Ghost does not have control over any transactions that occur through the blockdag.

3. No Custodial Relationship

Ghost Wallet is a non-custodial wallet, meaning that we do not store your private keys, passwords, or any information that gives access to your cryptocurrency. You are solely responsible for managing and safeguarding your wallet’s private keys and recovery phrases. If you lose access to your wallet, Ghost cannot recover your funds or restore your wallet.

4. Eligibility

By using the Ghost Wallet, you affirm that you are at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract under applicable law. You also affirm that you are not a resident of any jurisdiction where the use of the Ghost Wallet or any cryptocurrencies supported by the Service is restricted or prohibited by law.

The Ghost Wallet currently only supports Kaspa and KRC20 tokens. Ghost may add or remove support for certain cryptocurrencies at its discretion without prior notice. Ghost is not responsible for any losses or issues that arise from the use of unsupported cryptocurrencies in the wallet.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE GHOST WALLET IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. GHOST MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. GHOST DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GHOST SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE GHOST WALLET OR ANY TRANSACTIONS MADE USING THE SERVICE.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ghost and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Ghost Wallet, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of a third party.

13. Changes to the Terms of Service

Ghost reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time, and you agree to be bound by such modifications or updates. We will notify you of any material changes to the Terms by posting the new Terms on our website or through the Ghost Wallet. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitute your acceptance of the new Terms.

Ghost may terminate or suspend your access to the Ghost Wallet at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Service.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States.
